Three pillars of a successful optimisation
E2E Visibility of Information
Recognising the fragmented visibility across the team as the cargo status transitions through different phases, we understood the importance of employee-to-employee communication in achieving optimal efficiency.
Automation at the core
The cargo shipment process follows a linear and structured approach. Yet, the manual operations required by the Cargo Ops team can become overwhelming due to the large volume of shipments they need to manage individually. Automating the process aims to provide the Ops team with high productivity.
Dynamic Content
Currently, the Ops team at bp manages this aspect of the business using numerous productivity tools and outdated software. However, the diverse roles and responsibilities within the team necessitate a platform that is clear, transparent, dynamic, and adaptable.
To-Be Experience
By analyzing the information provided
by the Cargo Ops team, we have identified opportunities to optimize their process and enable the seamless operation for bp LNG.
Highlighted Features
Dashboard Capabilities
This capability empowers users with a comprehensive view of all Cargo Operations, encompassing overall statuses, key information, and pending actions. All data is displayed in real-time, emphasizing essential actionable insights.
Dynamic Cargo Tickets
This capability allows users to access the status, details, and required actions for the Cargo at each stage of its journey. The information is conveniently accessible from the Dashboard, and the content of the ticket dynamically adapts based on the specific point in the end-to-end (E2E) journey.
The Final Designs
These screens were designed with a strong focus on features aimed at enhancing transparency and productivity for Traders, Schedulers, Cargo Operators, Managers, and Ship Operators. They provide valuable support throughout the entire process, from Pre-shipping to Post-Shipping, benefiting all stakeholders involved.
